Autoliv Trails and Weber River Parkway

Ramp up and over a truck on the northern section
I was introduced this past weekend to a set of trails I had never tried before.  If you head west on 30th Street to where it ends up becoming 31st, you can then take a turn south on Parker and go for just about a tenth to a quarter mile where it crosses the river and there is a little parking lot on the south when you pass that - you can start there and ride on the paved Weber River Parkway.  This paved trail connect to the Ogden River Parkway (actually I think it is called the Centennial Trail).

You can then ride along the paved trail clear to Riverdale, with occasional sections of singletrack popping out from the paved section and then eventually reuniting with it.  You'll cross quite a few bridges, and one road in the process.  When you get to Riverdale you'll end up seeing a BMX bike section that's fun to take a quick round on, then it goes into the frisbee golf park.

The trails are actually quite difficult to find, and are somewhere on the eastern end by the railroad tracks.  You then enter into the forest section, which I guess is named "The Enchanted Forest."  This section is quite fun with a lot quick drops and climbs, sharp turns, etc.  Nothing very strenuous, but kind of technical and fun.

You end up popping out into a clearing again, eventually hit a dirt road, which then if you watch carefully you'll find singletrack shooting off on the west again for a quick loop out by the river, in a section called "Nam."

Approaching Nam
On our way back we rode just past the parking lot, under a bridge, and into this southern section that is kind of short, but has quite a few stunts, such as two trucks that have ramps built to climb up and over, a large spool to ride over, some bermed turns, riding through the "V" of a tree, a log bridge, etc.  Its quite a bit of fun as well.

Overall this trail isn't much of a workout, but its a lot of fun for a ride and something quite different from everything else in the Ogden area.
