Hit Jumpoff up again this morning, but instead of taking the north like earlier in the week before work, we hit the south trail and then rode Shoreline for aways. I love this trail. Lots of climbing and descents, without anything too crazy, a few rocky sections that are fun to navigate, narrow trail, great views.
We went about 7.7 miles round trip, and accidentally missed one turn and rode back on the Jumpoff North trail instead.
This is where the Shoreline singletrack crosses the canal road. You can either keep going down the singletrack to 12th Street, or you can ride the canal road up to the top of the waterfall. We chose the more scenic routeAt the end of the canal road there are some steps that lead to a view down into Ogden Canyon at the waterfall here. We ditched the bikes for a bit and walked up here to take a look and get some pictures. It was incredible. My dad is one of the nicest guys. Everywhere we go he knows someone, remembers them by name, and sincerely asks them about their life. This picture depicts what happens on many of our rides. I think it accurately represents how the Savior "went about doing good." (Acts 10:38)Looking back toward Ben Lomond on the return trip.
