I took another early, early morning ride before work on the Quail Trail (top two pictures). I'm quite pleased to report that this trail does dry out - other than a small creek going through I didn't see any mud. What I don't think I realized was just how many split offs there are all along this trail. It is a fun trail to go along.What I'm not as pleased to report was that I chickened out of going too
far on it and wanted to wait until it was a bit more light to plunge into the dark forest. It didn't look particularly inviting this day, so since it was early, the sun wasn't up yet, I decided I would fly over to the Shoreline trail (bottom two pictures) from there, which as always was pretty fun. Took one side trail there that proved to be a good stiff climb that led to nowhere but a bunch of large rocks sitting on the trail.
